Bicis Crossing Tracks

Bike riders who haven’t practiced crossing train, streetcar or railroad tracks often get their wheel(s) stuck in the tracks while riding and crash. To avoid this be sure to cross tracks as close to a 90-degree angle as possible.

That will keep your wheel(s) from getting caught in the tracks. Especially when wet or rainy outside, it helps to not be turning or braking when you ride across. This keeps your bike tire from slipping on the metal and possibly dropping into the groove next to the track.
